What are we looking for
We are seeking an ambitious, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic candidate to join us as Web Project Manager.
In this role, you will manage web development projects for our growing range of travel brands. This is to ensure top quality service for our customers around the world who want to travel to our various exciting locations.
Responsibilities
- Managing web development projects
- Exploring new approaches and taking initiative for new digital solutions
- Gathering requirements and feedback from stakeholders and communicating them to web designers and developers
- Managing user testing & UX improvements
- Running A/B tests
- Education and general requirements
- Demonstrable experience leading large-scale website & digital projects
- Knowledge of working in Agile software development environment
- History of planning and delivering software platforms
- Working knowledge of optimizing websites for SEO
- Data-driven methods, making decisions based on facts and numbers, not feelings
- Undergraduate degree or recognised accreditation in related field is desirable
- (Advantageous) Experience working in a travel e-commerce environment

Working at Travel Connect
Your working hours will be 36.5 hours per week including lunch breaks. You will report to the Chief Technical Office in Reykjavík and work with colleagues both in Edinburgh and Reykjavík.
This is a full-time position, primarily during normal office hours from Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role and responsibilities, you may sometimes expect to be on-call, and it may be necessary to work outside normal working hours to answer urgent technical issues.
Depending on your current location, you will either be based in our Reykjavík office at Bíldshöfði 20 or in our Edinburgh office on George Street.
