Web Development – Front end – HTML / CSS / Javascript / Jquery

We’re looking for a talented front end programmer for a prominent position at an exciting start up. You’ll be our first hire so its an especially interesting opportunity for committed individuals.
You won’t be working with banks or trying to bludgeon your users with advertisments you will instead be helping people send and receive messages that are dear to their heart so the work will be quite interesting and rewarding!

We’re looking to revamp parts of our front end into a more comfortable user-experience. So we’re examining front end frameworks such as knockout.js and equivalents to make the code more maintainable and adding some async calls (AJAX) to make everything more smooth. We’re therefore dipping into the hiring market to find someone to help speed up this process.

Mandatory Talents:

A good working knowledge of Javascript/CSS/HTML.
A solid work ethic.
Experience of developing for website(s) (commercial or personal).
Good English

Extra points if you have:

Relevant education in the field
Experience with client-side javascript frameworks (JQuery and especially knockout.js or something similar).
Good fundamental knowledge of the javascript language.
A good eye for security.
UX – experience/knowledge
Experience of online video recording/publishing
