Web developer and designer of School Solutions
Advania’s School Solutions team is looking for a creative developer and designer with an ambition to reinvent and implement the next generation of user interfaces for students, parents and teachers.
The team’s goal is to lead the development of modern software solutions for homes and schools in Iceland. Today the team is developing and supporting leading software solutions for kindergarten, primary and college level education institutions in Iceland, among them are the INNA and VALA suites.
Responsibilities
As a webdeveloper and designer in the school solutions team you will take an active lead in developing and improving the user experiences for kindergarten, elementary and college level school system currently in use in Iceland. Your contributions will work to the direct benefit of thousands of students, parents and school-staff and significantly improve their day-to-day life.
The team follows the Scrum agile methodology and you will be a part of a close nit product development team that cooperates vertically across multiple other departments within the organization. We are seeking an individual that has a passion for designing and building high-quality and ergonomic user experiences. An individual that enjoys working in a team that can balance developing new solutions along with incrementally improve existing systems.
Desired skills
- Experience building and maintaining websystems in .NET Blazor or ASP.NET
- Experience in user centric design, visual communication and UX
- To be well organized and meticulous in your work
- Excellent communication skills, proactive, driven and affable.
