Software engineers (Python/Vue)
Ankeri is a software company within the international maritime industry. Our innovative SaaS products, used by some of the largest shipping companies in the world, leverage smart data usage to enhance productivity, performance, and reduce carbon emissions. We are looking for software developers with experience in Python and/or web development to join us in our mission to advance our products and continue to digitalize the shipping industry. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is highly motivated, product-driven and likes to work autonomously in small teams with short feedback loops.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain our SaaS applications using Python, Vue, and other relevant technologies.
- Work with customer feedback and requirements, and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical challenges.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and continuously improve the development process.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong experience in Python and web development (such as Flask, FastAPI, Django) and/or front-end technologies (JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Vue).
- Experience applying modern design principles to produce high-quality, maintainable software.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results.
