Software Developer – CRM
Icelandair is looking to hire a software developer to join the CRM development team, where the Salesforce platform is used to support great customer service. We are seeking an individual who enjoys learning new things and solving problems through good collaboration as a member of a tightly-knit team.
Main responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Salesforce applications and processes. That implies using Salesforce proprietary development environments; the Apex programming language, the Lightning Component Framework and low-code process tools.

Develop microservices and integration solutions, for example in NodeJS.

Managing data engineering tasks related to CRM projects.

Proactively support best-practices in terms of all software development aspects.

Stay up-to-date in relevant technology stacks.
Qualifications:

Bachelor‘s Degree in Computer Science or comparable education is required.

At least 3 years’ experience in Java and/or JavaScript development is very much preferred.

Certifications and/or experience on Salesforce or other CRM solutions/projects are advantageous.

Experience in data engineering is a plus, preferably in a Microsoft environment.

Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, is valued.
