Software Developer: Core DB Systems Design and Security

Videntifier Technologies are a high-tech company providing a unique large-scale video and image identification technology. The company is a leading player in its field and has secured increased financing to allow it to expand into new markets: the Internet industry (hosting/service providers, social media platforms), content tracking and monetization, and market/advertisement research.

 
We seek an experienced Software Developer to assist our quality assurance team by building easy installation procedures for our high-end custom core database and backend systems, and defining the overall API in accordance with customer needs. The role also includes security and system design responsibilities. This includes increasing the security of the codebase, and protecting the Videntifier core against threats and misuse. This role works closely with the Videntifier sysadmin team, is also involved in system design for customers, and is chiefly responsible in the deployment process at customers’ premises. The position will require the employee to travel to customers on a regular basis.

 
Requirements:
 — BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
 — Experience in C++ and systems programming
 — Good understanding of operating systems and system security
 — Ability to work in an international team
 — High degree of self organisation
