Software Developer – Will transform healthcare

Position Summary

Responsible for writing outstanding code that will run at hospitals across Europe, everyday

The Work

We are looking for someone who loves building technology that makes a difference. You’ll be a part of a small team so will have a chance to contribute across the product:
– Computer vision: Using camera and laser images we create high quality inputs for classification
– Classification: Using captured images, we identify drugs that are present, serving as a second set of eyes for nurses
– Data management: Hospital pharmacies stock thousands of drugs from different manufacturers that look different in every country – we have to make sense of the chaos
– UI: Nurses work in a demanding environment so we make the complex straightforward
- Testing: Our software and hardware touch patients every single day. We make sure it works

Experience

• 4+ years experience with software development and testing
• Experience and comfort with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Background/interest in healthcare and hardware products
• Background/interest in computer vision
• Familiarity with C++, Python, and HTML5/JavaScript/CSS3 Personal
• Entrepreneurial. Comfortable with fast changing environment with a lot of ambiguity
• Goal and task oriented. Thrives on getting stuff done
• Likes working in teams. Believes that the whole is greater than the sum of parts
• Positive mindset. Persistent and good natured in the face of setbacks
