Senior Front-End Developer

Our mission at Prescriby is to provide safer treatment of prescription opioids and other addictive medication. We are a well funded health tech startup that creates high-quality software originating from clinical experience and focus on real clinical value.

We are hiring a candidate with a background in front-end software development that has a good eye for UI/UX. The candidate we look for should be eager to participate in diverse projects, shift focus when necessary and be driven to create meaningful software that improves the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the features, user interface, and user experience for a website for medical professionals. 
• Architect efficient and reusable front-end that runs on complex web applications. 
• Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and other Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing solutions.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues that relate to usability.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with modern front-end frameworks like React

Preferred Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Excellent eye for detail and design as demonstrated in a portfolio
• Experience at working with RESTful and GraphQL API layers
• Be able to understand and take part in the whole development cycle (planning, analysis, design, implementation and testing, maintenance)
