Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking for a talented and dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Iceland. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards. You will be working closely with our development team to create and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and collaborate on solutions to improve overall product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and execute automated tests to validate software functionality
• Collaborate with the development team to identify areas for improvement in our QA processes
• Participate in agile development and be familiar with scrum
• Define and implement testing strategies, testing plans and test cases
• Analyze and report defects and communicate effectively with the development team to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on business applications
• Strong experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to think critically, solve problems and make informed decisions
