We seek a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure. As the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth technical operations. Job description:

  • Provide first-line support for hardware, software, network, and system issues for employees and clients including equipment maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner via in-person, email, phone, or remote support.
  • Access control management in Active directory for onboarding of new employees.
  • Perform routine maintenance on IT systems, ensuring all hardware and software are up-to-date and functioning optimally.
  • Assist in training staff on IT best practices and use of company systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and IT assets using the company’s ticketing system.
  • Work with other IT team members to support large-scale projects, upgrades, and deployments.
  • Monitor and enforce IT security protocols, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Other tasks as needed

Education and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA) preferred
  • 3+ years of IT support experience, ideally in the transportation or airline industry
  • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), networking, hardware support, ticketing systems and productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office 365)
  • Experience in supporting cloud platforms such as Azure
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team environment
  • Excellent spoken and written skills in English
  • Flexibility for shift work and willingness to travel occasionally as required
