At Icelandair‘Integration Solutions, we are dedicated to advancing innovative and efficient pathways in data engineering and system integration. Our team of skilled Data Engineers and Integration Developers is committed to designing and implementing robust solutions that establish a single, reliable source of truth and effectively distribute it across Icelandair’ and partner‘ systems. We aim to enhance data accuracy, automate manual processes, optimize workflows, and ensure seamless integration across various platforms.

You‘re an ideal candidate for this position if you’re a person with considerable experience building and maintaining system integrations, a person who is a team player and able to collaborate with people across the company, e.g., system specialists, product- and project managers, data engineers, and others. Lastly, you have ambition for the successful delivery of projects and are highly interested in technological advancements in the field of integrations.

Role and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement new efficient integration solutions.
• Maintain and optimize existing solutions to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other developers, departments, solution managers, and various people within the organization to successfully deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Finding ways to automate processes to increase organizational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python or . NET.
• 2+ years of experience with Software AG’s webMethodsIntegration Server is a substantial advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
