Full Stack Engineer

Mesher is a startup that is changing the way clothes are sold online. We are developing an iOS and Android app which uses your body measurements to sell you perfectly fitting clothes every time. The app estimates your body measurements from images you take of yourself, using AI and Computer Vision algorithms that have been in development for over a year. We are funded by the Icelandic Technology Development Fund and private investors.

Now we are looking for our first full time employee!

You should have:

• At least a BSc degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering with a strong background in Mathematics -OR- a BSc degree in Mathematics/Electrical Engineering/similar with a strong programming background
• Knowledge of Python and C/C++/Objective-C/Java
• Strong general computer science background, specifically excellent performance in courses corresponding to:
  • Analysis of Algorithms
  • Database Theory
• A desire to learn new things thoroughly and quickly

Experience and confidence in the following is a plus:

• Linear Algebra
• MVC (e.g. from Android, iOS or web programming)
• UI & UX Design

You will be expected to learn fast, work independently and be responsible for large parts of our technology stack. You will be tackling exciting challenges in a modern technology stack (Django, Postgres, AWS, Heroku, iOS & Android) and solving problems in Computer Vision, Projective Geometry and Machine Learning.
