Frontend developer

Role Overview

As an Experienced Software Developer at 50skills, you will play a crucial role in our unified development team, where each member leverages their unique expertise to contribute to our platform’s growth. Your primary focus will be on developing and enhancing the frontend of our platform using Typescript and ReactJS, ensuring our products are innovative, efficient, and user-centric. You’ll be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, helping to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance our user’s experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a cross-functional team to define, design, and implement new features and improvements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Typescript and ReactJS, focusing on creating responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
• Contribute to the evolution of our product and technology strategy, embracing best practices in frontend development.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and encourage knowledge sharing within the team.
• Work closely with the product team to translate user requirements into technical specifications and actionable tasks.

Experience and Skills

• Proven experience as a Software Developer, with a strong emphasis on frontend development using Typescript and ReactJS.
• Deep understanding of React and its core principles, especially hooks and the context API, for managing application state and lifecycle.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python/Django, enhancing your ability to work across the full stack when necessary.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and practices.
• Interest or experience in UX/UI design principles, aiming to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces.
