Front-end Developers

Icelandair is looking for ambitious front-end developers who are passionate about delivering high-quality code for a seamless user experience. We are looking for creative, critical thinkers who can work collaboratively and independently in cross-functional product teams.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Icelandair’s online booking experiences, ensuring quality of code and validity of solutions by building reusable code and component libraries for future use
• Proactively support best practices in terms of all software development aspects
• Collaborate with our inhouse designers to turn wireframes and mockups into functional user interfaces
• Contribute to the discussions and development of the product roadmaps
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience in software development with Typescript, React, Next.js or other established JavaScript front-end frameworks
• Degree in computer science, web development or comparable education
• Knowledge and/or experience in agile methodologies and continuous delivery is preferred

• Experienced Mario Kart and/or FIFA player
