Delivery Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join Aftra’s software development team.

Aftra is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution and a spin-off from the cybersecurity company Syndis. Aftra simulates hacker methodologies and helps companies and institutions understand their attack surface and defend against cyberattacks and hackers. At Aftra, we have a diverse team of experts, and you will join a fun and ambitious team.

As a Delivery Lead, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our software development teams deliver maximum value to our customers. You will act as a bridge between the product development team and the client, ensuring that our SaaS solution meets the clients’ needs and expectations. This role requires a strong understanding of both software delivery processes and customer success. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery process, from planning and execution to monitoring and improvement, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality solutions that drive their success. The position reports directly to the CTO.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of Aftra’s SaaS solutions to ensure they meet customer requirements and deliver maximum value.

• Act as a key liaison between software development teams and customers, translating customer needs into actionable tasks.

• Work closely with software teams to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.

• Facilitate communication between internal teams and clients to ensure a smooth delivery process.

• Monitor and assess the delivery process, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our delivery methodologies and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Strong understanding of software development processes and SaaS delivery models.

• Initiative and a keen interest in tackling new challenges.

• Ambition and a strong work ethic.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English; Icelandic is a plus.

• Relevant educational background.

• Experience in software delivery or project management in a SaaS environment is a plus.
