Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our data team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling to uncover valuable insights from our vast datasets. Your work will directly impact our business decisions, enhance the customer experience, and drive innovation.

Responsibilities:
-Statistical Modelling: Develop and apply statistical models to analyse customer behaviour, predict travel demand, and optimise pricing strategies.
– AI Research and Development: Stay abreast of the latest AI research and trends, identify relevant applications for the travel industry, and develop innovative AI models and algorithms.
– Model Evaluation and Optimization: Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of AI models, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
– Data Engineering: Collaborate with data engineers to build and maintain robust data pipelines that collect, process, and transform travel data for AI model training and deployment.
– Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to integrate AI solutions into our existing products and services, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.

Qualifications:
– Education: Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
– Experience: 3+ years of experience in AI research or development, with a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and NLP.
– Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks and platforms.
– Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analysis and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
– Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for tackling challenging and ambiguous problems.
