Senior C# Developer

Azazo 16. Feb 2015 Fullt starf

AZAZO is a tech company based in Iceland providing SaaS solutions for data management. Our flagship product, an enterprise content management system named CoreData, integrates seamlessly with the desktop via application plugins and a virtual drive.

We are looking for an experienced C# developer to join our growing team. We’re looking for a good communicator – in terms of feedback on code reviews, documentation and expressing their opinions on subjects of debate. We want someone who enjoys working in a team – who can both accept and provide positive criticism in equal measure.

The virtual drive provides essential features, allowing files to be browsed, edited and created without the need of a browser, without sacrificing security. It plays a major role in the adoption of CoreData for enterprises.

The role will involve working as part of the desktop team, responsible for:
– Stabilizing the existing code base of the disk and desktop plugins.
– Development of new desktop features, including making necessary changes to the CoreData API.
– Ensuring the disk code is thoroughly tested and of the highest quality.
– Streamlining the release process of all desktop components.

Experience that may help you:
– .NET and specifically C#
– Asynchronous programming
– Low level programming with the windows filesystem
– Java
– Writing plugins for Microsoft Office applications.
– TDD
– RESTful API design
– Scrum/Kanban
– CI tools
– Python

Fluent English language, both written and spoken is a requirement.

The position is open for remote or locally based applicants. We strive to provide a flexible, asynchronous-friendly work environment where it doesn’t matter where you work. We work across 4 time zones, with 25% of the development team based abroad.
